remember the young couple who were caught by city hall officers for ‘hugging and kissing’ in KLCC about a year ago? well, yesterday, they were charged in court.

the couple insisted that they were just holding hands while the officers said they were hugging and kissing. hmm… so who was right?

if they were just holding hands, then the officers was wrong to summon them… but if they were really hugging and kissing, then i would say the officers were doing the right thing to summon them.

yep! i can get on the internet at home now! hurray!! it was my modem. something wrong with it. funny. though the modem can dial in but something’s wrong with it. my nephew (who is only 19) came and check and change another modem for me… the spare one he has. luckily it’s also a 56K modem. i do have a spare modem but it is only 36K. now i’m using my nephew’s modem and hopefully it won’t be damaged again. oh… speaking about that, today our tv transmission was down again… after a heavy rainfall (think got thunderstorm too). so lousy. little bit thunderstorm, tv transmission down. what the hell happened lah. this also made me paranoid that one day my ‘new’ modem will be damaged again.

sorry, this is one of my long-winded ‘grumphy’ post. i just have to let things off my chest. (part of this was actually written several days ago… before my modem problem).

when i blog on irritating phrases, killuminati of sixth seal mentioned that to him the most irritating phrase is “it’s his/her blog, he/she can write whatever he likes.” well, i would rather change it to in the first person - “it’s”my blog, i’ll write whatever i want to”. this is for the individual blogger speaking about himself/herself, rather than another blogger or non blogger speaking for the individual blogger.

wanted to blog last night but something was wrong. i try dialing in but each time i got the message “the line is busy”. though i had try more than 10 times…. no made it 20 times, still same answer of “the line is busy”. i’m very sure the line can’t be busy for so long! yes i try both jaring and tm.net… still same answer. i thought could it be the phone line? well no way as i can hear the dialing tone from the phone and can make calls. could it be the modem? don’t think so because the modem is all powered up and it can dial in… only with the response “the line is busy”.

doing away with ‘ugly malaysian’ image
well, well, what good news. our PM, pak lah had launched a 5 years plan named ‘national integrity plan’ (NIP).

what is this plan about?

it is to change the “ugly malaysian” image by promoting a values-based society with a clear sense of morals.

hmm… so the admission is there. we are all ugly malaysians. well, usually it starts from the top, so i suppose we have ugly menteri-menteri, that’s why the rakyat malaysians also ugly too.

the headline screamed ‘terror blasts’ and sub heading wailed ‘68 killed in suicide attackts in basra, 9 killed in riyadh’.

again it happened. suicide killers. what is it with these suicide killers? practising jihad? why do these suicide killers find pride in doing their job of killing others at the same time killing themselves. i always maintain that suicide killers are nothing but cowards (and not ‘hero’ or martyr). pure true coward. why? they want to kill people but at the same time, they kill themselves… they are escaping from their crime by dying. isn’t that plain coward? ok fine if you choose to kill people, then be brave to live up to it…. run, hide, or do nothing and don’t let people suspect you…. just live!! if you die, you’ll be gone from this world, what can you face in this world? nothing! and you are escaping everything! therefore you are a coward, coward, coward!

as per your dictionary.com sensitive means:

1. Capable of perceiving with a sense or senses.
2. Susceptible to the attitudes, feelings, or circumstances of others.
3. Quick to take offense; touchy.
4. Easily irritated

one always seems to be thinking of no. 1 and 2 only. though it is true one should be very no. 2, but one should remember that sometimes the other one is no. 3 and 4; as usually only when one is no. 3 or 4, one will say the other person is NOT no. 1 or no. 2. anyway it is also so true that lots of people don’t like those who are NOT no. 1 or 2…. because if you are NOT no.1 or 2, then you’ll hurt those who are easily at no. 3 or 4…. but being no. 3 or 4 is also as bad as being NOT no. 1 or 2. looks like it works both way.

ok long time no post joke, so am gonna do it this time. ’side it’s just an excuse for my empty mind without anything to post.

again it happened! trainees revolt now! are we going to read about woes everyday that happened in NS? in fact been reading so much of the woes, that kind of expect it to happen and if it happens, no shock. beginning to get ‘jelak’ too hearing about it. also seems a few bloggers like to harp on the NS woes too. so has this NS woes now become the kopi-tiam talk?

can you believe this guy? it’s as though he’s happy with all the woes happenning in NS when he said that the woes will teach the youth about unity. why can’t he get in his head that the spate of problems in NS should teach him something too? that the NS programme was too hastily implemented? that the NS cannot bring about unity among the youth of various races?
