hey, whaddya know! i’m not a leftist nor a rightist…. i’m a centrist lah!

Centrist
Centrists favor selective government intervention and emphasize practical solutions to current problems. They tend to keep an open mind on new issues. Many centrists feel that government serves as a check on excessive liberty.

    the gift of life

POSTED: Tuesday, 30/03/04, 1:31 AM   FILED: Uncategorized |

ok taking a break from post-election talk (cabinet and pak lah) today. wanted to talk about something dear to me (no, not my chaly) -the gift of life i.e. organ donation.

i was prompted to talk about this after reading dr liew’s funny (but detailed) post on ‘options after death’. in that interesting post of his, he had provide us with many options to choose what to do with our body when we died. well i had made a comment there, as i always do. enjoy his blog. his insane blog keep me from going insane after reading too many blogs on politics and all that too intellectual stuff stuff. ??? i’m not making sense here eh. well maybe it is too much addiction to the doc’s blog that make me spew nonsense. haha.

    new cabinet…. can be?

POSTED: Monday, 29/03/04, 1:59 AM   FILED: Uncategorized |

ok ok i’m late. it seems i’m always late. several bloggers had already blog on the new cabinet and paper everywhere had splashed this news all over, here i am just doing it.

actually i did try to blog on it yesterday but i was so frustrated all that i had written went kaput!!… just like that when the browser window was closed accidentally. not that i closed it accidentally but rather the mouse made me do it. honest. not a case of don’t want to blame myself. you see this new wireless optical mouse of mine these days suddenly developed hyper-sensitivity. when i want to click once to open the window, it suddenly click twice for me to close the window! anyway i will have to kacau wits0 about this matter (private email) and see is he can help me. ok I know about writing my blog on like notepad or word first not directly on blogger.

    character and reputation

POSTED: Friday, 26/03/04, 1:56 AM   FILED: Uncategorized |

boy, i am bushed!! so tired these days as everyday attending meetings/talks. so sorry no post today. don’t worry. i’m still down with the election fever so will election talk again tomorrow (hopefully). also wanted to reply to so many comments but just so damn tired.

as usual, with no blah blah post, i’ll append here a saying/cliche. this saying should be quite appropriate for this time (election time!) if you applies it to the MPs and politicians.

take care of your character and your reputation will take care of itself.

    phantom voters

POSTED: Thursday, 25/03/04, 2:01 AM   FILED: Uncategorized |

uh oh. was watching tv last night so have no time for a write-up post.

at first i watched the twilight zone. i’m glad to see the return of this show which had been my favourite long ago when it was shown in B&W and intro by none other than the creator himself, rod serling. this new twilight zone though doesn’t seems to be as nice as the old one.

    psst! PAS passing into oblivion?

POSTED: Wednesday, 24/03/04, 1:51 AM   FILED: Uncategorized |

don’t worry. that’s just an exaggeration heading. of course PAS is not fading into oblivion since they still retain kelantan.

well since everybody seems to be talking about it, i figure i’d better blog on it too - why did PAS did so badly in the election? if you are a visitor to jeff ooi’s famous blog, screenshot, and you read the comments there made by visitors, you’ll get some answers there. especially at this thread tittled ‘PAS tense’, they were talking about WHY and HOW PAS lost.

    what now, pak lah?

POSTED: Wednesday, 24/03/04, 1:18 AM   FILED: Uncategorized |

remember when pak lah was first installed as the new PM, lots of people/group came up with a wish-list for him? those wishes were suppose for him to fulfill during his 100 honeymoon days. i have blogged on the wish-list from the human rights watch and DAP.

the DAP wish-list concentrate more on penang. one of it is to ask pak lah to review the PORR project. human rights watch, of course concentrate on human rights. now that the people had spoken… given BN a huge landslide winning, pak lah should pay attention to all those wishes. after all, he himself did said “i will deliver”…. which reminds me of the 3 pledges he made in his maiden speech as the new PM. he pledges:
    democracy
crackdown on corruption, abuse of power
    to be tough on terrorism
