lucia: i suppose it is ok. i did see someone (ling zhi something or what) nominated her/his own self. 

lucia: well i suppose that was because the announcement was started late. well this is another aspect of the best this and that award, not showing the true picture as nominees will be only a few out of the many blogs out there.

aside from popularity, it is also a case of ‘happen to be there’, if you know what i mean. e.g. this award, i happen to know about it and those who read this post of mine will also knows about it, so they will send in nominations BUT what of others who doesn’t knows about it? they might know lots more good blogs but since they don’t know about this award, they did not nominate those good blogs. 

Hands down, Mr. Coconut or Mr. Thinking Aloud will win.

lucia: well, honestly speaking, yes mr thinking aloud’s blog is better than yours. but i still like to nominate you because for one thing since mr thinking aloud is so popular already, others might nominate him or maybe i look at it this way that he is already good, no need to stand for the award!
